Local Information
Our office and yard is based in Drybrook, a place with a strong sense of Forest community (band, male voice and female choirs) 6 miles from Ross and 2 miles from Cinderford. The village benefits from a centrally located school, church and chapels, pubs, rugby club, post office, village stores and several shops with larger stores and supermarkets at Cinderford and Ross. Cricket and soccer clubs flourish on Ruardean Hill and Harrow Hill distinct communities on adjoining hills.
Picturesque Ross-on-Wye is in the Wye Valley AONB which overlaps the Forest of Dean to the east and south. Ross is a market town with a good range of shopping (including farmers and street markets), sporting and cultural amenities and a choice of local schools. Situated at the end of the M50 and the A40 link, Birmingham , Bristol and Cardiff are normally reached in an hour and Swindon in a little over the hour. Hereford is 14 miles away, Gloucester 16 miles and Cheltenham 24 miles.
Our sphere of activity embraces Ross-on-Wye and the Forest...
we are proud to live and work here, and provide new homes for the privileged few. |
